Amy McCauley’s poetry, essays and reviews have appeared widely in UK magazines and anthologies including: The Poetry of Sex (Viking), Hallelujah for 50ft Women (Bloodaxe), British Poetry 2015 (Salt), Poetry Wales, The Rialto and The Quietus. Her pamphlet Slops was shortlisted for the Pighog/Poetry School Prize 2014 and in 2008 she was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize. Amy’s current projects include: a collection of poems (Auto-Oedipa) which re-imagines the Oedipus myth and a verse novel (CaNToS of JoaN) which was longlisted for the KCL Responses to Modernism Prize 2015. Amy is a PhD candidate at Aberystwyth University and poetry editor for New Welsh Review.
Featured in Poetry Wales, Zarf, and Seren, Katrin Selina Lloyd's poetry is (mostly) honest in its autobiographical nature - attempting to find worth in the ordinary. After studying Creative Writing at Bangor University, Katrin moved to Cardiff where she lives and writes and drinks raspberry cream soda. Co-author of Versions/Fersiynau, which will appear in the next edition of Poetry Wales.
Vahni Capildeo, a Trinidadian British writer, dissolves genre, time, and place, seeking to haunt, immerse and provoke. She has worked as a lexicographer, for Commonwealth Writers, and in academia. Awarded the Harper-Wood Studentship at St. John's College, Cambridge, she will travel to Africa and the Caribbean in 2015-16 for site-specific research. Author of No Traveller Returns (Salt, 2003), Person Animal Figure (Landfill, 2005), Undraining Sea (Eggbox, 2009), Dark & Unaccustomed Words (Eggbox, 2012), Utter (Peepal Tree, 2013), Simple Complex Shapes (Shearsman, 2015) and Measures of Expatriation (Carcanet, forthcoming 2016).
