Nat Raha is a poet and queer / trans* activist living in South London. Her poetry includes '[of sirens / body & faultlines]' (Veer Books, 2015), countersonnets (Contraband Books, 2013), 'mute exterior intimate' (Oystercatcher Press, 2013) and Octet (Veer Books, 2010). She has performed her work internationally, and poems have recently appeared in Dusie, Datableed, Asphodel and We Have Always Been Here zine. She is currently undertaking a PhD on Marxism in queer theory, and contemporary poetry, at the University of Sussex.

John Goodby, poet, critic and translator: author of uncaged sea, Wine Night White and Illennium; translator of Pierre Reverdy, Adel Guemar's State of Emergency (Arc; with Tom Cheesman) Heine's Germany: A Winter's Tale (Smokestack), Pier Paolo Pasolini; editor of the Collected Poems of Dylan Thomas; co-organiser, with Lyndon Davies, of the Hay Poetry Jamboree 2009-12.

Cole Swensen is the author of fifteen volumes of poetry, most recently Landscapes on a Train (Nightboat Books, 2015) and Gravesend (U. of California Press, 2012), and a volume of essays, Noise That Stays Noise (U. of Michigan Press, 2011). She co-edited the 2009 Norton anthology American Hybrid and was guest editor of the 2014 Best American Experimental Writing from Omnidawn Press. A translator of contemporary French poetry, prose, and art criticism, she is the founding editor of La Presse Books (www.lapressepoetry.com), which specializes in contemporary experimental French writing translated by English-language poets. Her awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, a PEN USA Award for Literary Translation, the Iowa Poetry Prize, and the San Francisco State Poetry Center Book Award, among others. She divides her time between Paris and Providence, Rhode Island in the U.S., where she teaches at Brown University.

David Greenslade is a reluctant surrealist and isn't sure why.  Recent books include Rarely Pretty Reasonable – made with thirty visual artists – and Free Style, a collaborative translation of Czech surreal poet Josef Janda. His work has a theatrical dimension and has been broadcast on television.

Camilla Nelson is a poet, text-artist, researcher and collaborator across a range of disciplines. She is poetry editor for The Goose and founding editor of Singing Apple Press. Her first full collection Apples & Other Languages was long-listed for the 2015 Melita Hume Poetry Prize and is due to be published by Knives Forks and Spoons Press in May 2016.

Amy McCauley’s poetry, essays and reviews have appeared widely in UK magazines and anthologies including: The Poetry of Sex (Viking), Hallelujah for 50ft Women (Bloodaxe), British Poetry 2015 (Salt), Poetry Wales, The Rialto and The Quietus. Her pamphlet Slops was shortlisted for the Pighog/Poetry School Prize 2014 and in 2008 she was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize. Amy’s current projects include: a collection of poems (Auto-Oedipa) which re-imagines the Oedipus myth and a verse novel (CaNToS of JoaN) which was longlisted for the KCL Responses to Modernism Prize 2015. Amy is a PhD candidate at Aberystwyth University and poetry editor for New Welsh Review.

Featured in Poetry Wales, Zarf, and Seren, Katrin Selina Lloyd's poetry is (mostly) honest in its autobiographical nature - attempting to find worth in the ordinary. After studying Creative Writing at Bangor University, Katrin moved to Cardiff where she lives and writes and drinks raspberry cream soda. Co-author of Versions/Fersiynau, which will appear in the next edition of Poetry Wales.

Vahni Capildeo, a Trinidadian British writer, dissolves genre, time, and place, seeking to haunt, immerse and provoke. She has worked as a lexicographer, for Commonwealth Writers, and in academia. Awarded the Harper-Wood Studentship at St. John's College, Cambridge, she will travel to Africa and the Caribbean in 2015-16 for site-specific research. Author of No Traveller Returns (Salt, 2003), Person Animal Figure (Landfill, 2005), Undraining Sea (Eggbox, 2009), Dark & Unaccustomed Words (Eggbox, 2012), Utter (Peepal Tree, 2013), Simple Complex Shapes (Shearsman, 2015) and Measures of Expatriation (Carcanet, forthcoming 2016).

Peter Finch is a poet is a full-time poet, critic, author and literary entrepreneur living in Cardiff, Wales. He has published more than twenty-five books of poetry including Zen Cymru, published by Seren Books, and The Welsh Poems from Shearsman in 2006. His Selected Later Poems was published by Seren in 2007. A recent work is hammer lieder helicopter speak, a sonic history of twentieth century music published by p.o.w. ( poetry / oppose / war ).

Ashley John Long is a double bassist active internationally as a soloist and ensemble performer. Recent albums include "Back in your own Backyard" with Chris Hodgkins and "The Ripefruit Session" with Tom Jackson.

Samantha Walton is the author of three chapbooks, most recently Amaranth, Unstitched (Punch Press, 2013) and the forthcoming Animal Pomes from Crater Press. She's read at events including the UEA Poetry Festival, Surrey Poetry Festival, Lit Live at Goldsmiths and as part of Enemies collaborations in London, Edinburgh and Wales. In 2015 Samantha will be Poet in Residence at the SoundEye Festival of the Arts of the Word in Cork, Ireland. Tweets @samlwalton

D.E. Oprava is an American-born writer who has lived in Wales for almost two decades. He has published six collections of poetry, the latest of which, The Last Museum of Laughter, was highly commended by the 2014 Forward Prizes for Poetry and he recently won the 2015 London Book Fair Poetry Prize for Haiku. He is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Cardiff Metropolitan University and has work forthcoming from Red Hen Press and Pighog Press in 2016.

Peter Jaeger is a Canadian text-based artist, poet, and literary critic now living in London. He is the author of eleven books, and his most recent publications include John Cage and Buddhist Ecopoetics (Bloomsbury 2013), 540493390 (Veer Press 2014), and A Field Guide to Lost Things (forthcoming this year from If P then Q Press). Jaeger is Professor of Poetics at Roehampton University in London.

Steven Hitchins' work includes The Basin (LPB, 2011), Palisade Winters (LPB, 2011), Bitch Dust (Hafan, 2012), and the performance pieces microtopias (Bath Arts Fringe Festival, 2013) and Red Light Radio (North Wales International Poetry Festival, 2014). He edits The Literary Pocket Book, publishing contemporary experimental poetry in miniature origami-fold editions.

Kate North is the author of Bistro (2012), a poetry collection, and Eva Shell (2008), a novel. She also writes short fiction. She is interested in urban life and the impact of technology on writing and identity and in communicating scientific and medical subjects through creative writing. www.katenorth.co.uk, @katetnorth

Nia Davies was born in Sheffield and studied English at the University of Sussex. Her pamphlet Then Spree came out from Salt in 2012. In addition to her work with Literature Across Frontiers and Wales Literature Exchange, Nia’s current projects include collaborations with other poets and artists and co-editing the online journal Poems in Which. In 2014 she took over the editorship of the international magazine Poetry Wales. Her next publication is Çekoslovakyalılaştıramadıklarımızdanmısınız or Long Words. Nia's interests include translation and international poetry, cultural activism and poetry’s relation to sound, listening and other art forms. Her poems have been published internationally and translated into Turkish, Arabic, Kurdish, Chinese, Slovak and Spanish.
